Plant and tree rendering is critical to many computer graphics applications, like interactive walkthroughs, architectural presentations, entertaintment and computer games. Current research focuses on realistic modeling and rendering of plants and trees. In this paper, however, we focus on non-photorealistic rendering of these models. We introduce GreenArt, a tool for a modeling and rendering non-photorealistic plants and trees. We present GreenArt’s functionality and capabilities and we show some examples of scenes generated using the system.
