dc.description.abstract | This paper presents a project called Bidaiatzera based on Augmented Reality technologies for leisure and educational applications with tourist, cultural or socio-economic contents. Augmented Reality technologies provide a seamless interaction with both real and virtual worlds, so that the player can see the real world with superimposed 3D graphical objects providing additional information. Sua is the first prototype based on the board game metaphor with a board, a die and tokens, enhanced by some augmented cards. The player can revive the historical events that took place in Donostia-San Sebastian city in 1813 using Mixed Reality technologies while interacting with other players. This first prototype has been assessed in a real scenario with different target users. | en_US |
