The study of the light field, as a function defining the radiance along the different viewing directions of a scene, started more than a decade ago and is still ongoing due to its interesting applications. Among the different parameterizations existing for the light field, we will be centered on the spherical light-field parameterization due to its quality of viewpoint-independency. In this work, we present an improved multiresolution method for rendering of spherical light fields with a non-uniform sampling, while focusing on the visualization of large storage volume light-field datasets.en_US
