ln the context of project Ciência Viva da Mina do Lousa/, it was decided to construct an immersive virtual reality environment in which a group ofpeople, for example students, can do a virtual visit to a mine. This artic/e discusses and rationalizes the diverse techno/ogical choices made to achieve this task.
