Methods for Cross-Sectional Design of B-Spline Surfaces
Abstract
The complexity of free-form surface construction and interaction can often be reduced with methods of crosssectional design. A number of such methods, includin sweeps, skinning and surface interpolation are described in this paper for the B-spline surfaces. The methods are demonstrated with examples using the CUBES subroutine package.
