dc.description.abstract | In this paper is described the fusion of two different technologies for the three dimensional acquisition of the Hellenistic-Roman Theatre of Paphos located at the island of Cyprus. A laser scanner and an innovative device for the aerial photogrammetry have been used for this purpose. Despite the size of the archaeological site and the complexity of the survey; it has been possible in a short time to acquire the whole theatre using photogrammetric and laser scanning techniques. The final result is the complete 3D model of the theatre at present, which was used for 3D stereoscopic vision simulation. | en_US |
