dc.description.abstractThis paper approaches the question of the management of heritage information by using low-cost systems. The aim is to reduce costs by using Free Software -if possible, Open Source software, for the management and visualization of heritage. In order to manage the spatial information of heritage, it is necessary to use GIS technology. Therefore, we will have to find free GIS software to explore and analyze its possibilities. Moreover, we will make the adaptations and developments required for this software to be used for the management and visualization of the Medieval and Modern Heritage of Madrid (Spain).en_US
