Steganography is an information hiding technique that conveys secret information in a host signal using a secret method. Only the receivers and senders know the secret information. Many researchers have proposed their own steganographic techniques to hide information in various host signals, such as audios, videos, images, and so on. Nevertheless, most of the methods degrade the visual quality of the image when more information is hidden in the image. Therefore, this paper proposes a new steganographic scheme, which is based on the Chinese Remainder Theorem. The abbreviation of the scheme is CRTIH, and it not only conceals a larger amount of information in a hidden image but also upgrades the visual quality of the image.en_US
